Featuring Imam Saleh Qazwini

Imam Qazwini hails from a prominent religious family from Iraq. He immigrated to the United States with his parents in 1994. After completing high school in San Diego, Imam Qazwini moved to Iran where he studied in the Islamic seminary of Qom. His studies focused primarily on Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Scripture. After completing his studies, he returned to the United States and acquired a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Masters degree in Near Eastern Studies from Wayne State University.

Currently, he lectures weekly at several mosques and centers. He travels to numerous communities across the globe spreading the message of Islam and religious tolerance. Imam Qazwini also teaches courses on Islamic ideology and Quranic studies.
